Rules and Regulations
Below Rules and Regulations shall form the agreement of Multinational Forwarders Association which has entered into co-operation.
- The name of the Alliance is "Multinational Forwarders Alliance".
- Purpose of the Alliance, a non-profit association and the main purpose is to aid business between its members.
- Any dispute between the Alliance and its members, it will be resolved in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Association accordingly to the private incorporation of the Association of the country's registration law.
- All new members must be recommended by existing members subject to the approval by the Director before membership can officially enter into force.
- Membership.
- Membership is not transferable UNLESS acceptable by the Association Advisory Committee.
- Any member with dues over a period of 60 days, such member is indebted to the association for such dues and notices will be sent by electronic mail to member concerned.
- Failure to pay his dues within a period of date after sending of such email, it shall entitle the Director to exclude such member from the Association and also take Legal means of recovering.
- It is the duty of each member to attend the annual meeting, any members who cannot participate must write to the Director with reasons to support for non attendance.
- All Annual meetings will be held on an Yearly basis by the Association and venue to be decided after recommendations by members to the Association, thereafter deliberated by the Advisory Committee. Forthcoming annual meeting have to be agreed during the Annual meeting and all such annual meeting, members will be notified at least 3 months in advance.
- Resignation of Members.
- All resignations have to be submitted officially by writing through electronic mail to the Director. Such resignations accepted on date of receipt of official writing, however, the Director reserved the right to refuse request for resignation if the member have defaulted in any dues to any member of the association and lay claims from the member concerned.
- Director.
- The Director represent the association and is responsible in the daily transactions.
- The Director will be part of the committee to select new members and market the association to the forwarding industries in order to maintain and increase the number of new members.
- The Director shall oversee each member and immediately inform the Advisory Committee members if any of the member fail to pay its annual membership fee or fail to meet its obligation as a member of the association.
- India and the sub continents which is the next fastest growing economy after china is deemed as the world's most important region for both its import and export market within the next couple of years.
